Join Northern Ireland Chest Heart and Stroke for the Causeway Coast Trek on Saturday 22nd September 2018. This is the 4th year NICHS has been the main nominated charity for the Causeway Coast walking event. This is a long distance walking event covering 13 or 26 miles of the world famous route.
We also have places on the 10k, 13 miles, 26miles and Ultra runs for those who don’t want to miss out on this hugely popular event and also support Northern Ireland Chest Heart and Stroke who are leading the fight on care and prevention of chest, heart and stroke conditions in Northern Ireland.
The breath taking route for all events takes you along the rugged coastal path with outstanding sea views towards Rathlin Island and as far as Scotland. You will also pass through the Giant's Causeway making it the perfect event to enjoy all the North Coast has to offer.
Why choose NICHS?
Across Northern Ireland there are over 200,000 people living with chest, heart and stroke conditions. These are conditions that have a huge physical, emotional, mental and social impact on the person, themselves, or their family. We aim to prevent chest, heart and stroke illnesses and ensure people enjoy healthy and active lives by making them aware that living a healthy lifestyle and having regular health checks can reduce their risk of becoming ill.
